A 32-year-old primigravida of 37 weeks and 5 days presented at KD Hospital Emergency Department with the complaint of leaking per vagina for two hours.
Dr Shachi Joshi, Consultant of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, examined the patient thoroughly. The patient was taken for urgent bedside USG which indicated a true knot presentation.
An emergency LSCS was performed to save the baby. The patient's door-to-operation time was just ONE HOUR. Despite the high-risk nature of the diagnosis, a healthy male baby weighing 2.7 kg was successfully delivered.
