Important Message IMPORTANT Message for all Participants of KD Marathon 2019 from Race Director Mr. Lihas Trivedi Dear Athletes, Parking is just behind Tagore hall when you come from Paldi side. Requesting all participants to come from that side so that parking is immediately visible. It is huge parking which can accommodate 700 cars. At the venue we will have water at the start of the race for all & 3 participant compartment 5km, 10km & HM. First to be flagged off is HM, followed by 10km & then 5km followed by 1km special run for Visamo Kids & specially abled citizens. As the attached videos illustrates, Start gate of 10km/21.1km is on the left & the timing will start from the gate on the main road. There is U turn at 2.21km approx for both 10km & 21.1km participants. The U turn for 10km on the other side at Dinesh Hall/Noble Institute is 7.24km approx on the divider. Please be care full on divider crossing. The U turn for HM participants is at 7.48km little ahead Nr.. Riverfront park Usmanpura, please cross the divider carefully. The HM participants will reach start point & start loop 2 of the same route. For 5km participants the race starts from inside the venue & finishes at same point at venue. The route is go right from venue gate on opposite side of the road & run towards SVP college & go straight upto Vallabhsadan & little ahead upto Bata lane then take U turn to reach back on straight route to venue. There are 9 Hydration/Aid Station on route. 5 aid/Hydration station with water & Enerzal, 2 aid station with fruits & salt is available at all aid stations. Note: We will be serving water in paper cups following the environmental policy. There are 3 Physiotherapy/Medical stalls on route with mattress in case of Physio need or medical help required. Physiotherapy/Medical Station 1) NID wall after underpass 2) Opposite Flower park circle Nr. Ashram 3) Nr. Riverfront House opposite to Vallabhsadan ICU Van/Ambulance will be at Vallabhsadan & opposite to start point of the event. For your entertainment on route we have 3 DJ points & many people to cheer!! Medals for 10km/HM finishers will be just at the finish line inside the gate at event centre. There will be water at finish line as well as inside venue. There is big Medical/Physio set up inside the venue for your needs. There is lot of fun & refreshment waiting for all participants post run at the venue. Selfie corners for all participants & LED Screen specially for 10km & HM finishers who can show their timing details to all the people in the World by posting their pics with timing data.
