A 32-year-old primigravida of 37 weeks and 5 days presented at KD Hospital Emergency Department with the complaint of leaking per vagina for two hours. Dr Shachi Joshi, Consultant of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, examined the patient thoroughly. The patient was taken for urgent bedside USG which indicated a true knot presentation. An emergency LSCS was performed to save the baby. The patient's door-to-operation time was just ONE HOUR. A 22-day-old female baby was brought to the KD Hospital Emergency Department with abnormal breathing, swollen body and a distended abdomen. She had gasping breaths & so was intubated right away and put on a ventilator. She was admitted under the care of Dr Snehal Patel, Consultant Neonatologist and Pediatric Intensivist. She had multiple abscesses which were drained but found to be deep. Later, on investigation, she was diagnosed with osteomyelitis and septic arthritis. Paediatric Orthopedic Reference was done and these abscesses were opened up and debridement along with arthrotomy was done. A 29-year-old male patient was brought to KD Hospital Emergency Department, at around 2:30 AM with a gunshot wound over the right side of the chest. Upon arrival, the patient presented with the complaint of difficulty in breathing, chest pain and abdominal pain. The X-ray Chest showed that the bullet was lodged in the chest cavity. Dr Bhavin Desai, our Senior Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgeon removed the bullet from the pericardial cavity by sternotomy, and the right atrium and right ventricle were repaired as well. In order to repair the damage caused by the bullet, the patient also had to undergo Right Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting. The patient's door-to-operation time was only ONE HOUR.
